Death walked through the world
His scythe in his hands
Doing his life's work of cutting life's strands
Following his heart, he knew where life ceased
For only he knew how to collect on life's lease
Yet one day he stood in times square
And all he could do was stand and stare
The feeling of death pervaded all
But looking around, death saw none ready to take their last fall
A hand fell on Death's shoulder
And spinning around Death's blood rand colder
The figure before him was clad like night
Dark robes kept it's face from light
"Who are you?" Death plead
"Death's Death," was all it said
